Description: Kitchen interior depicting the parable of the rich man and the poor Lazarus. In a kitchen, two kitchen maids are preparing a feast. On the left, one maid strings a piece of meat on a spit, the other maid holds a copper cauldron in one hand and a dead rooster in the other. Displayed are pieces of meat, vegetables (cabbages, turnips and carrots), poultry, a dead hare and fish. Among the food items, a dog barks at a cat. To the right is a table on which are pasties, cheese, bread, silver cups and drinking bowls. Against the back wall, pitchers hang from a shelf; on the shelf are plates and candlesticks. In the background on the right the rich man with his family at a banquet, near the door Lazarus sits on the floor.
